- worker: hmmm (turning to co-worker)...denise, do you know if this is real or plastic?
- denise: it says plastic on the box
- young woman: if it turns out it's real, can i bring it back?
- me in my head: yes, if once you remove the branches, wire trunk and stand from the box, assemble the tree by placing the wire branches into the wire trunk, and unfolding the wire branches and shaping it so it looks like a tree, you discover it was actually a real tree in a box, unassembled, being sold at duane reade - you may bring it back.
