I’ve been The Bearer of Bad News for about 10 days now, and it’s the worst job I’ve had by far (& I was a 1-800-FLOWERS gift box outside The Today Show at 5a in December!). But one of the first things that popped into my head when the Bad News was delivered to me was: How am I gonna tell My People (that’s you)?
So, I figured I’d tell you the best way I knew how: by writing an original song on my ukulele. Obviously.
Now, keep in mind that this is the first full-length song I’ve ever written by myself, and it’s about, oh, Bad News. But I mean everything that’s in it, and hopefully it won’t totally bring the room down.——————-
